Although we are physically separated in the great distance, we are emotionally connected to across the globe ever than before.
I wanted to create a poster that is the reminder of emotional connection of the world and love and support came from all over the world in response to the 311 disasters in Japan.

Biography
So Takahashi is originally from Yokohama, Japan. Moved to New York to study graphic design at School of Visual Arts (BFA 1996), and then established his design practice there. Lived in Oslo between 2006-09 with his Norwegian wife and child.

The basis for So Takahashi design studio has been to combine commercial work with an on going exploration of design that floats between the different dimensions; 2D, 3D, audio. Whether it is a poster, a chair an album or a performance, it is all part of the same exploration and creative process of designing an output – an expression.

His work has been exhibit 100% Norway in 2006 with Snøhetta’s Løvetann housing project. In 2008 he launched his Origami Chair at 100% Norway in London. Now So and his family live in New York.
